• I have done all the competencies from helping other people complete their work.

This is my Xtramath result. Next time i go on Xtramath i need to get more than 8 smiley faces. I like going on Xtramath all the time because it helps me learn a lot and you can get better and better.

My Narrative

It was a beautiful sunny day,best for my friends going out for trick or treating.I was walking down the street step by step, DOINK i tripped over a stone that was in my way.Knock Knock!! boom!!! the door went bang. I said trick or treat to the man and the man gave me some candy for me.Yes finally i got on the other side of the road Knock Knock!! Trick or treat i said in a creepy voice so then the lady gave me some candy.I was still walking i thought that no one was with me so i carried on walking. Suddenly, I heard a sound ....boom boom.

I am really proud of my Halloween narrative introduction because i have included lot of details  and a good hook which I will develop in other paragraphs.

My Term 3 Reflection

Term 3 Reflection

The most thing I really enjoyed about this term was when we  did our production in front of everyone.

I really enjoyed doing our production because I liked singing the song and because it was fun.

Something new I learnt this term was doing different kinds of Landforms.

I am really proud of finishing of my work in time and being kind to one another.

Next term I need to finish off all my work instead of talking too much.

This is my Production Brochure we disguised in Room 7 with Mrs Paton .The thing I really enjoyed doing was looking at the photo's.The thing I learnt  is that we had to do A Production Brochure to tell things about our Production.

Mere's interesting work

This is my work about three Types Of Rocks.The thing I learnt when I was doing my Three Types of Rocks is that the Sedimentary rocks are made such as sand,clay or skeletons and the shells of the sea creatures.The Three types of Rocks are called Sedimentary, Metamorphic and also Igneous.I really enjoyed doing the Three Types of Rocks with my buddy Ana.

Bruce Potter's Visit

On the 4 of september Bruce Potter came to our school.When Bruce Potter came to our school he showed us some things about his books that he write.When I heard Bruce potter sing he was really good.The thing I liked about that day was when Bruce Potter was singing and when he was drawing the bear on the motor bike. I really enjoyed Bruce Potter coming to our school.The thing I learnt was to draw like Bruce Potter did.

The DuffyTheatre

On Tuesday the hole school went in the hall for the Duffy theatre. On Tuesday when the hole school went in the hall we just met some new people named Afi,Scruffy and Duffy. The best part and the funny part of the day was when Afi crying on Mrs Emma and when Afi picked her nose.

My Recount

My Day At The Laundry

Boom! The door went bang when I walked in. My family walked through the door and the light was bright. When I walked in the door it was so quiet and calm. On that day my sister and I were dancing around and around waiting for our washing to finish.

During that day my sister took me towards the shop because we were so bored sitting down doing nothing but waiting for our washing to finish. We walked around because we were so hot inside the laundry. Then we went outside to walk around and have fresh air. I was really tired when my sister and I went walking around.  When I walked back inside the laundry,  it was so quiet like no one was talking.

Wow! It was so bright I couldn’t see that well but when I walked right in I could see a little bit better than I did before.

I really enjoyed going to the laundry but I didn’t  like it when it took long in the dryer and thank god that our washing was finished from in the washing machine. I was really happy because our clothes was warm and clean. When I touched it felt warm and I felt like I was wearing it but no, I wasn’t.

Swimming in the pool

On Tuesday it was really cool swimming because I really enjoyed it when it was my turn to swim. I think I did the best I could. I really enjoyed swimming that day.

My Spelling Game

This week i have improved my work by working on my spelling words.Today I have worked hard and I really enjoyed spelling. Today on the spelling game I have learnt that I had to speed up on my spelling. I really enjoyed playing the game.

Today I played A game and I scored 100%.Today when I played this game I learnt that I had to get faster at my addition and my subtraction to complete it.I was so happy about myself that I completed the game in 0 minutes and 48 seconds.Today I think I worked hard on my addition.

Room 7's Howick Historical Village Ideas

At our trip to the Howick Historical Village I had so much fun with Mrs White because we used the slate boards and we had to link our letters. My most scary part of that day was when Mrs White got her cane. The other fun thing I think is when we were doing the activities with Mrs Hill doing double dutch and some other activities. Every thing was so awesome when we got to visit the places in the olden days. I really enjoyed the fun day.

This is my future classroom By Mere

    This is my future classroom.In my future classroom I have a music room so when it rains you got something fun to do and when you fell like playing an instrument .  I have got a comfortable area so when you fell lazy you can just chill in my comfortable area. also when it rains you can get your net book out to finish off your finished work on it.I even have a art area so when you fell like doing some art you can go and make an art piece. I also have a class pet so the student's can learn to take care the fish because taking care of a pet is
really hard to do.In my classroom i have a mat area so when the teacher says to come to the mat
the space is ready. Also my classroom has desks for the student's and the teacher to sit and do there
work.

My voice was clear but not loud enough.

I stood still and relaxed.

The hardest part of speeches was using eye contact.

I am proud of myself for using a clear voice.

Next time I will practice my eye contact and my loud voice.

My spelling result

This is my result from my spelling today.Today for my spelling I got 4 right and 5 wrong and my percentage was 60%.The thing I learnt about the game was  putting the connective words in the right place.

Des Hunt visit

The author Des Hunt came to visit us today.He used chemistry and physics to teach us about writing.He made it interesting and fun.
