As Wednesday came by, a big group of student went to Dunkirk to participate in the touch Inter school tournament . The year 7 & 8 had two team as well as the Year 5 & 6. All the teams played really great and had chemistry to score tries or work together and push back the offence. I would like to thank Mrs Caroline, Mr Ogilvie and Mr M for assisting all the teams at this day.
This blog is a record of my learning from Panmure Bridge Primary School through to Tamaki College.

Touch
Today we have been doing kiwi sport with Trava. As a class we have been learning what skills you need when playing a game of touch. The thing I have learnt when playing touch is that when you get touched you have to make sure you put the ball down so that you don't cause a penalty. if you do a penalty you have to hand the ball over to the other side. We all had a fun day today, especially getting to know things that we don't know. Today LS2 has learnt a lot about touch, and when playing a real game of touch we all will use our skills that we learnt in a actual game.

Hydration vs Dyhydration
This is my DLO that I did with my partner Victoria. We have been working on what the difference is between Dehydration and Hydration. We have been working collaboratively together on this DLO to get it completed. We have learnt that the meaning for Dehydration is that, your not drinking enough water. We also found out that the meaning for Hydration is that you receive a lot of water in your body to keep yourself focused on your work. Me and my partner has learnt a lot about Dehydration and Hydration.

Reading Challenge
L.I: was to follow instruction and making sure we had to read for the meaning and understanding. This is photos of my group, collaborating together trying to figure out what word goes in the gaps. We all worked together as a team to get all challenges completed. The hardest challenge was trying to write 25 words within retailing a story. It was a very hard thing to do but we all done well.

Rhythm Interactive
Today our school had a very interesting fun day. We had visitors that came to our school and was teaching us about rhythm interactive. We played on the drums and made different beats. The visitors were Lucy and Johnny. We all had to keep an eye out for what they were doing and we also listened really carefully to Johnny and Lucy. I learnt that action speaks louder than words.

Cyber Smart
Today a group of people went to the library to learn about Cyber-Smart with Mrs Ogilvie. She was helping some of the year 8's with Cyber-Smart. I didn't go to the library to learn about Cyber-Smart but I had a partner that gave me extra help with learning about Cyber-Smart. My partner showed me this site called epic.com. It was very interesting finding out new things.
