Telling The Time
This is my clock that shows four different types of times. My favourite time is three O'clock because we finish school at that time. The thing I learnt about the clock is to fold it into quarters and right down the numbers in the correct place.

Pentominoes
Today we have been working hard on this Pentominoes. All you have to do is the teacher will give you some shapes and a long paper. The thing you have to try and do is to fit all the shapes in the long piece of paper. It is called Pentominoes because it is a shape with five cubs.

Netball
This term we had netball lessons with our coach, Merrin, for kiwi sport. These are the skills we learnt. One of the skill was that when you are shooting the ball you have to bend your leg or if you take one step forward you have to balance on one leg like a flamingo. I also learnt that only the G's are allowed in the simmy circle like GA, GK, GD and GS. We had lots of yesterday but unfortunately that was the last day.

Kiwi Kids News
Today I got 100% because I was reading the articals. The word I didn't know was engari the word in Maori. The word engari means but.
My Migration
If I would migrate for a place it would be Cook Island. The reason why I want to migrate the Cook Islands it's because I want to know if my parents have cancer and if they do have cancer I will be wanting to know.

Auckland Museum
Yesterday morning room 7, 5 and 8 went to a trip to the Auckland Museum. We went to the Auckland Museum to learn about our topic called migration. We also went to the Auckland Museum with some helpers. When we first arrived at the Museum I was so excited about what we were going to do.
We first got separated into two groups and the first group was the group that I was in. We went upstairs to go to a room and look at some trees and also tapa. During the other people looking at the tapa we did an activity and the activity was that we had to color on paper over the tapa patterns.
There were two ladies and two mens that were different kinds of culture. One lady was my culture Cook Island and the other lady was Tongan. Out of the two mens one of the mens were Fijian and the other men was Samoan.
The things we did interesting with the Cook Island lady and the Samoan men was when the man was playing a interesting drum and the lady showing us a beautiful and colorful titi that goes around your waste.
My favorite part was when we got into our groups and we went into the marea and saw the beautiful carvings. My favorite carving is the big one from the back the one that's is poking it's tongue out.

Duffy Theater
Today room 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7 and 8 had a good time in the hall for the Duffy show. We met 3 people named Rosie, Duffy and my favorite actor uncle Bingo. I picked uncle Bingo as my favorite actor because he was funny and his tricks are so good. My favorite part was when the dog was licking uncle Bingo's ear and when Rosie was sniffing the smelly jandle. My other favorite part was when humpty dumpty rang uncle Bingo and said that he fell off the wall. I heard that we had to keep on reading books.

Going To The Matariki
“Dancing in the freezing cold is the thing I don’t like”.
I was excited when I heard I was going to perform at the Matariki. There were people from my family that were there to support our performances. When I went to the Matariki I was nervous because I was cold to perform on the stage. When I first arrived there I ran to the lights with all my might.
I first went to the maze because I wanted to keep myself warm by running. Wow! there are lots of people now so I started getting nervous. First of all the amount of people that were there they were going round in circles. I went near the fire and put sticks inside it to make the fire go huge like mountains.
When the Cook Island Community Group just arrived at the Matariki we got changed in our costumes. We walked all the way to the stage feeling like we were ice. When I put my feet on the stage my face started turning red like spicy chilli. When the drummers started by hitting those drums it gave me a fright and my heart started beating fast. When I was dancing I couldn't control myself cause the stage was freezing and I couldn't handle it because my feet was numb.
I got so hot by those lights shining in my eyes so I started to turn red again. So I got even hotter and hotter without the fresh air blowing on me like the other girls. I was so nervous that people were thinking that I was a tomato with that kind of color face I had. Some of the people were cheering out loud like a haka was happening.
When we hopped off the stage I felt more fresher than how we were on the stage. We went back to the hall and got ourselves changed and then we all went home with a smile on our faces.

My art Reflection
This term Room 7 did art. For art we did a landscape Painting. We did colour mixing and also our horizontal lines and vertical lines. The colour that makes brown is yellow, blue and red but if you want to make it dark you just add black. The colour that I used to make the blue go dark is black and the colour that I used to make it go light is white. I also know that blue and yellow makes the color green.
My Term 2 Reflection
Term 2 Reflection
This term we have been busy on our digital devices.
- This term in maths I learnt equivalent fractions. In equivalent fractions you have to compere fractions to see if it's the same. So for an example if I did 2/4 the answer to that would be 1/2.
- This term In kiwi sport we played a game of soccer. In the game we learnt how to dribble the ball. We also did warm up games like crab soccer and doge ball.
- This term in art we did color mixing. In art we learnt how to make different colors with color mixing. We also did landscape panting with horizontal lines and vertical lines.
- Wow I can't wait till next term.

Interactive Drum Show
On Wednesday the whole school went into the hall for the Interactive Drum Show. We met John and Lucie the people who are experts at drumming. We copied John do the rhythms and say things in his langue. We learnt such good rhythms with John and Lucie. When we first played the drums it sounded like a gun shot. When we played the drums I was feeling negative because I thought I was going to fail. We tried our best to be an expert. We learnt lots and had so much fun.
My My super Quiz
This is my result for today. My result for today is 93.3% and 28 points. Next time I do super quiz I will try my best to beat my result from today. I got most of the answers right by reading the articals.

Botanical Gardens
At the Botanical Gardens we had lots of fun things to do. My favourite part on that day at the Botanical Gardens was looking at the huge Kereru . When we were roaming around the beautiful plants I smelt all different flowers. When we went in the spooky forest Sarah gave us mirrors to see all the massive trees.
When we went to the children' s gardens we had lots of fun in the dark spooky tunnel. When we were at the children's garden I saw a fantail flapping it's wings around and around.
The most scary thing that I thought would happened is that when Sarah gave us the mirrors I thought that I was falling down from the sky. The thing I enjoyed on the day was smelling the lovely flowers and looking at fabulous colors too.
I had a fabulous day at the Botanical gardens but I had a relax in the bus before we got back to school.
